Deberenn is the main host of the international Rethink Softly project. In this project 8 different teams of material designer, product designers and sustainable material suppliers collaborate to experiment ways to create comfort in soft-seating with a zero use of poly-urethane foam. Rethink Softly aims to have at least 2 successful outcomes by the end of 2024.
initiator
Dutch circular design consultant, Rianne Koens initiated Rethink Softly in June 2022. After 10 years of product design and production she decided to stop designing any other product until systems become circular. In order to make this happen she opened up her network from both the Europe and Turkey and sees for the best matches to connect innovation and industry.
